SID: Hello Sid Roth here, welcome to my world where it’s naturally supernatural, I wouldn’t want it any other way. My guest, Danny Steyne, this is absolutely amazing, he went to heaven and found out how to reverse the aging process, no one is running out for food or popcorn during this show. Danny, tell me about, you’ve been a lover of God your whole life, you marry a woman you are madly in love with, you have four beautiful children, and then 16 years later what happens?
DANNY: Sixteen years later she evidently thought that was enough and she left.
SID: Who had custody of those four beautiful children?
DANNY: At that point I got, I had custody, and actually…
SID: How does it feel, I mean I hate to say, put it this way, but I want to know, how does it feel to be abandoned by someone you love?
DANNY: It was the most excruciating pain I had ever gone through at that point. I had never thought that that would ever happen to me, I never thought I would be a divorced man.
SID: It’s not supposed to happen, especially someone raised in a Christian environment.
DANNY: It had never happened in our family. And so it was something that was really foreign, really to me and my whole family as we walked through that, even my siblings and everything else, it was just a very foreign concept. But excruciating pain, I went through many sleepless nights, I went through many tears, tons of grief, devastated me, I thought I would never minister ever again, because in my upbringing I just didn’t think that you could having gone through what I had just gone through. But that was a very difficult time, I had left the church I was pastoring at that time, but I went actually through something far more severe a few years later.
SID: I know about that, no one, no one should have to go through what Danny went through. His children went to visit his ex-wife and the two youngest ones were kidnapped. When did you realize this happened?
DANNY: Well, actually that happened, it was in December, in 1999, and they had actually taken my son who was 16 as well as my two youngest who at that point were six and eight, and they drown to a city that none of them had been to before and took a night in a hotel and during the night they fled with the two little girls and actually abandoned my son in the hotel as well. That was an excruciatingly, agonizingly painful time. I thought that the first pain had been difficult; nothing was more decimating than that, it was horrible. And I remember walking into the room after they had left and just collapsing on the floor, just in tears, I had no, no way of knowing where they were, what was going on.
SID: How long did it take you to contact the FBI for help?
DANNY: Well I tried to contact them right away. They wouldn’t believe me initially, and it took them two weeks to get to us, and by that time obviously they were long gone. But during that period of time there was a real confidence that I had that God was going to restore them, I had no idea how, I didn’t know when, I wasn’t exactly sure when it was, I thought initially I thought it would be very soon, but the soon grew into years quickly.
SID: Did you know, or hope, that you would ever see them again as this grew into years?
DANNY: I did, in fact people often ask me that, they said how did you maintain hope? I said you know Jesus is my hope. And so as a result of him being my hope I can’t lose hope in him.
SID: Yeah but that’s easy to say right now, but it must have been so agonizing.
DANNY: It was, but he had given me a promise, and in that promise he really declared he said, “Your children will come home from a land of exile.”
SID: How did he give you this promise?
DANNY: Through Jeremiah.
SID: You read it in the scriptures and it just jumped out at you. Danny, Yeah, it was one of those words that was really so clear, and he just said, “Your children will return from the land,” and I knew it was my children.
SID: So you’re remarried now, and the ministry is starting to prosper, but you have this big hole in your heart, your two youngest daughters, and year after year after year goes by.
DANNY: Yes.
SID: Now let’s go to another arena of your life. You and I have a mutual friend, his name is Surprise, he is from Mozambique, Africa, and he works with Heidi Baker Ministries in Mozambique that every miracle you read about in the Bible is happening there. As a matter of fact Danny, what is the latest you’ve heard about people that are dead that are coming back to life in Mozambique?
DANNY: It’s a pretty phenomenal thing, they – Iris is wonderfully understating some of the things which are happening, which I love about them. But I believe that the figure now is in the fifties, of the number of people that have died and been brought back to life.
SID: What constitutes someone dying and then being brought back to life?
DANNY: In our western culture we would take anybody who just drops off, and we can get them back, but Surprise actually says they don’t count anybody unless they have been dead for four hours and remain alive for a year.
SID: what are those, you showed me a picture of worship in Mozambique, what are those flames over all the people?
DANNY: that actually has happened I guess on a few occasions and on one occasion in particular, there was a, an event where Surprise was preaching and people literally saw fire there coming out of his mouth and that’s the result, were those pictures.
SID: You know we have people that say they see angels behind us as we are speaking, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you aren’t going to see a fire. We’ll be right back and you will find out about an angel coming unaware, don’t go away.
