JAMIE: Well hello! I’m Jamie Galloway! Welcome to Something More. I have Art Thomas with us today and I’m excited because we’re going to get into a topic that I love! It’s a topic that’s near to my heart. I’ve been healed. Maybe you have or you’re believing God for healing. Art Thomas has seen so many people healed of
of different illnesses, diseases. Art, welcome to the show!
ART: Thanks! Good to be here!
JAMIE: So you walk in healing.
ART: Uh-huh.
JAMIE: It’s one of the primary modes or manifestations of God’s presence in your life. You’ve seen people healed.
ART: Sure.
JAMIE: How long have you been activated in this gift.
ART: Yeah it started in August of 2009. Yeah, I was on staff at my church. Had credentials in the Pentecostal denomination. We believed in healing but I had never seen it until then. And then all of a sudden I mean it’s kind of a long story but God opened my mind to understand oh my goodness! Jesus paid for it. He wouldn’t pay for something He doesn’t want. It is God’s will to heal and when I saw that I started preaching it and the results just followed.
JAMIE: So you know one of the things I see with people that actually walk in the healing gift there’s usually a moment, a crisis moment that really makes them press in.
ART: Uh-huh.
JAMIE: It seems to be a theme. Anyone that I know has a healing ministry, a crisis moment has pushed them to the edge where they ask God what is the deal with this?
ART: Yeah.
JAMIE: Did you have anything did you have anything like that?
ART: I did. I did. There was a husband and a wife at our church, both of them diagnosed with cancer. Both of them were convinced God wanted to heal them. And I wasn’t convinced cause my theology at the time was still sometimes God wants it, sometimes He doesn’t and it just so happens that every time I pray He doesn’t. Right?
JAMIE: Right.
ART: So they were both diagnosed with cancer. They were going around to every faith healer they could find. Our church was praying for them hoping if it be Your will. Right? And the husband ended up healed of cancer. The wife died of cancer.
JAMIE: Whoa!
ART: And they were û you know their son and I had gone to school together. I was real close with this family and it really messed with me cause first of all I prayed for the dad and he wasn’t healed.
JAMIE: Right.
ART: And so I was like well when I prayed for him and he wasn’t healed I just assumed it wasn’t God’s will but then someone else showed up and did it so maybe that guy’s got a gift. And then I realize wait a minute there’s a problem cause what I’m really saying is God’s up in heaven going not my will, not my will, not – ooops! I gave that guy a gift. I guess I got to heal him.
JAMIE: Ohh!
ART: And I realize like gifts don’t trump God’s will. They illustrate God’s will!
JAMIE: Mmm!
ART: So I no longer had that excuse but now I mean I like to say I had developed a very complicated theology to make myself comfortable with my lack of results.
JAMIE: Mmm!

JOHN: And so right now I’m just going to pray for you. When I pray for you just relax. Just relax. Just can we pray for – what’s your name, mate?
MAN #1: Bill.
JOHN: Can we pray for Bill?
AUDIENCE: Yeah!
JOHN: And Bill, just relax! Just Jesus right now. Don’t pray. Just relax. Lord, heal Bill! Set Bill free right now! God heal the shock of that injury from that horse! Phew! God, raise his shoulders right now 100% free for Bill! In the name of Jesus be healed right now! Set him free right now! Phew! Out! Out! Out! Out! Off his shoulders! Brand new shoulders in the name of Jesus! Now free! Free! Free! Phew! Phew! Hey, Bill. Choooh! Phew! And God touch his emotions too, God! Touch his mind too, God! Heal his mind, God! The shock and the trauma of that incident with that horse! Never the same again! Never! Hey, Bill? Raise your arms right up! Up! Up! Up! Up! How is that feeling?
MAN #1: Much better!
JOHN: And Jesus 100%! 100%! All of it now free! All pain to go free! Out! Out! Phew! Raise it up! Up! Up! Up! Up!

JOHN: Is that higher?
MAN #1: It’s much higher!
JOHN: Jesus, let it even more higher! Higher up? Is it higher up?
MAN #1: Higher.
JOHN: More higher up? Just higher!
MAN #1: [Laughing]
JOHN: Jesus, all of it! Phew! Choooh! Get Bill! There was a movie called that, wasn’t it? Get Bill? 100%!
AUDIENCE: [Shouting]
JOHN: Bill, raise it up! Up! Up! Up! Up! Look at that! It’s higher!
MAN #1: Yes!
JOHN: Even more for Bill! Choooh! Phew! Get Bill!
AUDIENCE: [Shouting]
JOHN: Come right up here. Get behind her. Okay. How’re you feeling in your body? How is that going? Is the pain gone?
AUDIENCE: [Shouting and clapping]
JOHN: Look at this! Come around here. A karate kick! Do it again!
WOMAN #3: That’s pretty good!
JOHN: She can go line dancing!
AUDIENCE: [Laughing]
JOHN: And so that was there for how long?
WOMAN #3: 25 years.
JOHN: It’s gone now?
WOMAN #3: Yes! Praise God!
JOHN: Move it around! Do you feel it anywhere?
WOMAN #3: No, I feel good!
JOHN: Let me shake your hand! PHEW!
AUDIENCE: [Laughing and clapping]
JOHN: There’s somebody else here you need a miracle for your shoulders too. There’s a lady here. Man! Boy, when you raise your arms, also it’s especially, man, that lady got healed! But there’s someone else here you need a miracle! And also your neck is affected. It’s like there’s a crunching! It goes from your neck and your shoulders. Just come up here. The lady here. You know what? There’s a man in Australia. He got kicked. He got attacked by a bull. Tore his arm. And you know what? When he got healed, I said, “Sir, there’s something. I want to ask you a very important question.” And he said, “What’s that?” I said, “Have you forgiven the bull that attacked you?” He said, “Yes! But the next day I ate it!” [Laughs]
AUDIENCE: [Laughter]
JOHN: And so what’s up with you, ma’am?
WOMAN #4: Well I’ve had spurs in my neck and a lot of aches since my 40’s all the way down my shoulder. Now it’s taken hold in my wrists. They are achy.

JOSHUA: The Bible says that “If we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth then Jesus will be made Lord over our life and He’ll come and He’ll dwell within us.” And it’s our job as soul-winners, as those who live in the glory, it’s our responsibility to plant the seed. And then God is the one who brings forth that wonderful harvest, who brings forth the fruitfulness.
SID: Okay. I learn fast. Are you saved or are you about ready to be saved? There’s only two types of viewers. Those that are saved. And those that are about ready to be saved. What? You’re saved? But you don’t look so excited. I think we have to reaffirm this with a prayer.
JOSHUA: Yes.
SID: And you know you’re not saved? I think we have to pray for you too. So repeat after me out loud. Dear God. C’mon now. I nailed both of you. Those that think they’re saved or those that know they’re not. Repeat after me. Dear God. Out loud. I’m a sinner. Against You and You alone have I sinned. And I’m so sorry. I believe the blood of Jesus washed away my sins. And in God’s sight I am clean. Thank You for Your forgiveness. Thank You for forgiving all of my sins. And now that I am clean, Jesus come and live inside of me. Become Lord of my life. Amen! If you confessed with your mouth and believed in your heart you are saved! I have to ask you the question, Joshua. There was a time you were in where you awoke, you’re in a hotel room in Rockford Illinois.
JOSHUA: Right.
SID: And what happened?
JOSHUA: And I woke up in the middle of the night and I was literally drenched in divine supernatural oil. It was flowing from my forehead. It was flowing from my hands. It was flowing from my feet. It was flowing profusely from my body and instantly I knew that there was, I was in a divine encounter and that I needed to do something with this oil. And I went around, I tell you I went around that hotel room looking for a cup, a mug, something that that this oil could flow into. And I
SID: It was that much that that you could that it was almost like coming out of a spigot except coming out of your body?
JOSHUA: It was flowing profusely and this has happened on several occasions since then but it was flowing profusely from my physical body and I ended up plugging up a sink and allowing my hands just to rest in the sink and I just continued in just praising the Lord, just on my own just worshipping the Lord and in that atmosphere the oil just continued to flow. And it has a fragrance to it. It’s amazing when God brought us into these signs the first sign was the fragrance. The second sign was the oil. And the third sign was the gold.
SID: Hmm. Now do you ever take this oil and use it for anointing purposes and what results do you get?
JOSHUA: You know we’ve used it all the time for the anointing oil for healing. You know we’ve had tremendous miracles take place. The first time it began flowing from my hands publicly in a meeting as I was preaching up in Big Bear Lake California. There was a woman, or a young lady in the meeting who had scoliosis of the spine and I laid my hands that were flowing with the supernatural oil upon her and instantly her spine straightened up and she was healed completely of that scoliosis. Absolutely amazing. Many, many other miracles

SID: Well speaking of fruit tell me about the time you were in that elevator with some non-believers. There were three people in the elevator. What happened?
JOSHUA: You know Sid, that was amazing because I got on that elevator. Went to step onto it and as I was stepping on to that elevator I instantly got covered with this gold dust from heaven and the manifestation
SID: How do you explain that to some, to? Forget Bible members, even believers? (laughs)
JOSHUA: I cannot explain it. And I think you know some people may think that I’m crazy. They may think that I’ve lost my mind but I know what it is. I know what I’ve seen. I know what I’ve experienced. And that’s just that. I mean I got covered with this supernatural gold dust and the people on the elevator just begin reacting by screaming and shouting. And they were in awe because they knew that it was something unusual that was happening to me. I don’t think they thought it was necessarily a miracle from God at the time that they saw it. They just knew it was supernatural. It was something that they saw instantly. And those elevator doors closed and I realized these people were on for the ride whether they liked it or not and God was setting them up for something supernatural.
SID: Like what? What happened to the three?
JOSHUA: Well you know what? They all three of them end up giving their heart to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by the time we got to the lobby level. All three of them. I simply said this is a miracle from God because Jesus loves you. And tears begin welling up in the one lady’s eyes and she said that they had been in downtown Toronto that afternoon. Somebody had told them about Jesus but they just kept on walking and you know what? They walked right onto that elevator where God was giving them a sign to confirm the Word that was spoken.
SID: You know I don’t think it’s an accident that it states in the Bible in Corinthians the Jew requires a sign.
JOSHUA: Right.
SID: But I would say that anyone from another religious group you’ll reach a few but if you want to reach multitudes it’s the same way you reach a Jewish person. Signs and wonders.
JOSHUA: It’s the power of God in operation. It’s the demonstration of the glory of God. That’s what it is.
SID: Now let me take you back. I’m curious. At age 16 what was life like and then there was a dramatic change. What happened?
JOSHUA: Well at the age of 16 I was very familiar with church, with church things, with church practices but very unfamiliar with the presence of the Holy Spirit until one night when I got into a church meeting and as the evangelist was preaching I literally felt the hand of God come upon me and catapult me out of my chair onto the floor. And when I ended up on the floor I was laughing hysterically. I was rolling and I remained like that for several hours. And at the end of the encounter I felt so “drunk” in the Holy Spirit. I had never been drunk in my life. You know I’m only 16 years old. Had been a good kid all my life. Never had alcohol or anything like that but I knew what it felt like to be “drunk in the Spirit” because I was just, I was totally intoxicated. I couldn’t get up. I couldn’t do anything. And my parents literally carried me from the church into their vehicle, into their van.
SID: They carried you because you could not go in your own ability?

DAWNA: Well Bethel Sozo is the inner healing deliverance ministry from Bethel Church and we are now around the world. So we’ve travelled and trained in so many different places. You can find us almost in any country so it’s pretty fun! So a couple of little Redding girls, Teresa Liebscher and I started a ministry under Beni Johnson to begin with. So yes, so it is an inner healing deliverance ministry. And it is so fast that people come and they say I’ve been in therapy for years and what you did in an hour and a half was deeper than I’ve done in years and years of therapy.
LAURA: Well give us a little idea and maybe even our viewers at home –
DAWNA: Yeah.
LAURA: Of how you do babystep people through this.
DAWNA: Well you know one of the things we hear when people hear deliverance, deliverance!
LAURA: [laughs]
DAWNA: Is you’re going to scream at me, you’re going to yell at me! You’re going to ferret out all my sin and I tell people yeah, we will find your sin.
LAURA: [laughs]
DAWNA: But really there’s two steps in it. One is to connect you greater to the Godhead. To Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
LAURA: Mmm.
DAWNA: And the other one is to actually close the doors that you have opened to sin in your life which is the demonic activity that would come in. So it’s kind of the blend of both. And what our hope is when you leave our hope is that you have gotten free of open doors of sin in your life through bitterness, through anger, through fear, and through sexual sin and the occult.
LAURA: Uh-huh. Oh wow!
DAWNA: All those areas. And that you actually walk away with this great connection to Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
LAURA: Uh-huh.
DAWNA: So yeah, it’s really fun!
LAURA: [laughs] I love how you describe it as fun.
DAWNA: Yeah!
LAURA: You know my father always told me find something you love to do and you’ll never work a day in your life! And I’ve not known you for very long but you are passionate about this. And I told you early on when you were describing to me about shifting atmospheres and all of that you have a breaker anointing. You have the ability and I know that’s a gift from God cause some people are stuck in ruts. Maybe you feel like you’re stuck in a rut. I want you to really address that. How does someone go from being stuck to being activated in God’s purpose for their life?
DAWNA: Well I think one of the main things the enemy does is he works at us through lies we believe and most of those lies we learned in childhood and then they’re reinforced as we go through. And so if we can find out the hooks inside of us and we can dismantle the hooks then we can actually begin to walk in the call and not self-sabotage or allow others to sabotage us. Yeah.

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here with Something More! John and Lisa Bevere. And they have decided they want to be transparent with their life. Because they recognize their life is a seed that is going to take the worst marriage and make it what God created it to be. As a matter of fact Lisa, when just before we went to the commercial break you started to tell me something. Would you pick up right there?
LISA: Yeah. Well and first I just want to say I so appreciate my husband’s willingness to be open and transparent. The first 4 years of our marriage there was physical abuse and there was anger. And you know, Sid, I had read Dr. Dobson’s book Love Must Be Tough and I thought you know what? I’m going to bring this to a crisis. I made John leave for the weekend. I spent time alone and I remember thinking you know I had made a vow. And this was like an inner vow. And I had said to myself the first time a man ever hits me I’m leaving hm. And so now I had come face-to-face with something I had made a vow about and, and had to really you know press into God and I said you know wait? God, what do I do with this? You see what he’s done. I want to leave him. He has abused me. And, and God beginning to talk to me only about me! And I was like wait a minute? What are you saying to John? He’s the one that’s been hitting me. What are you saying to John? And He just kept saying to me you need to forgive him. And I said well I’ll forgive him when I can see that he is going to stop this.

JENNIFER: A lot of times people want to put that in a little box, in a little safe box.
ROY: Yeah! And you know more than anybody else what it’s like to be oppressed by the enemy.
JENNIFER: Uh-huh.
ROY: You would love to bring freedom to somebody from that.
JENNIFER: Uh-huh.
ROY: So you’re doing that?
JENNIFER: Yes!
ROY: You’re training in that?
JENNIFER: Training.
ROY: Equipping.
JENNIFER: Yeah. All of those areas and my – I would say that I would – I lean toward now is actually walking to geographical areas as the Lord leads me and actually bringing deliverance geographically and we did that in our city. There’s a difference between people being oppressed and possessed and cities can be actually possessed and oppressed!
ROY: Right. Right.
JENNIFER: Until the church sees it, calls it out and begins to displace it! Just like in the Book of Daniel. You know the Prince of Persia.
ROY: Right. Yeah.
JENNIFER: We see it totally in the Bible!
ROY: Right.
JENNIFER: You know also Acts 16. You know the spirit of divination that met Paul and the whole city went into an uproar so you know that it was more territorial. That’s really where I flourish and where I thrive these days and that’s what the Lord uses me to do. It’s not an easy assignment but when He leads me there, there will be victory!
ROY: So do you – walk me through like a û let’s say I’m a person. I come to be trained by you. What’s the first thing you’re going to tell me what to do if you’re going to train me to become an intercessor or move in the prophetic?
JENNIFER: The first thing is intimacy with God!
ROY: Intimacy with God?
JENNIFER: That’s the very first thing!
ROY: Beautiful!
JENNIFER: Because unless you know the heart of God, unless He’s really touched your heart in deep places you won’t go to battle like that! You’ll fight! If you’re a lover of God you will fight things that you wouldn’t normally fight!
ROY: Wow!
JENNIFER: You will go into difficult situations that others won’t touch because you’ve been touched by the love of God!
ROY: Right.
JENNIFER: Something woos you into battle like nothing else when you know the intimacy of God!
ROY: So it’s kind of like intimacy-based authority?
JENNIFER: Exactly! A lot of people that go into power mode when it comes to prayer they like prayer because it makes them feel powerful. Okay? And because they’ve lost control in their life. There’s all sorts of reasons. They like that feeling and it works to a degree but then it turns on you because if you don’t have intimacy in your heart then you try to take down things that God never called you to. You try to take apart things that are demonic that He never authorized you to do and you don’t have enough love in your heart to actually go the distance to see it through!
ROY: Wow!
JENNIFER: And it destroys you instead of blesses you!
ROY: Yeah. Yeah! Well I tell you what. You’re whetting the appetite for somebody watching today! And I want to tell you today there’s no doubt that love is the thing that plays the biggest part in what we do in the ministry! What you’re describing is I think it’s a key if anything else cause He says you can cast out demons, you can prophecy, you can move mountains, you can do all kinds of things in Corinthians chapter 13 but if you don’t have love you have absolutely nothing!
JENNIFER: Right.

KAREN: And some people might be shocked by that. But I couldn’t even stand up on a stage and say my name without breaking out in hives! I lived in such a bondage of fear! Such a bondage of insecurity! It was a prison to me! It was crippling to me until one day, I’ll never forget! And my husband was always telling me God’s got a call on your life. He’s got a book inside of you!
LAURA: [laughs]
KAREN: He’s got all these things, these dreams, these visions. And I’m thinking there is no way!
LAURA: Wow!
KAREN: But I remember one day and I was just praying because I believe that God still speaks today.
LAURA: Uh-huh.
KAREN: I believe that He still shows up!
LAURA: That’s right!
KAREN: He can enter into a room, into a situation, into anything in your life. And I remember crying out one day because I was so insecure. And I looked in the mirror and I heard God speak to me and He said, “Karen, you are more than what you have become!”
LAURA: Wow!
KAREN: “You are more than what others have said about you!”
LAURA: Mmm.
KAREN: “And you are more than what you have settled for!”
LAURA: Mmm! Wow!
KAREN: And in that moment I realized all the lies of the enemy that I have listened to for so many years in that moment there was the heavenly Father standing there in that room.
LAURA: [laughing]
KAREN: That He felt that I was worth His time! That He had a purpose for me! And if He can do a work in my life, how could I keep that to myself? How could I hold that just for me? That it wasn’t for me. It was because He was saying, “Karen, I have saved you! Delivered you! Set you free! Set you on a new path! Given you boldness! Given you courage! Now go out and minister life and healing and freedom to other people, the same thing that I’ve given you!”
LAURA: And I want to have an opportunity to do just that! There are some people who you’ve just hooked! So let’s do that [music] when we come back! All right?

KAREN: That’s right!
LAURA: On stage without breaking out in hives!
KAREN: Yes!
LAURA: And now here you are in front of countless people! So I want you to tell me, I want you to tell the viewer at home a little bit more about how – go deeper how God dealt with you, brought you out. Because there’s somebody listening who they think “Oh, that was just for Karen.”
KAREN: Yeah.
LAURA: He did that just for her. He wanted her to go and speak on television. And you know we can’t be crippled and immobile. We have to be able to speak and if we can’t speak up for ourselves how are we going to deliver the Word of the Lord to someone?
KAREN: Yes.
LAURA: So talk to that person!

BILL: And the joy of the Lord is your strength so you need to get it amen. When I used to prophesy over a lot of people, I’d make a few puns or a joke now and then this old Pentecostal brother come up and said, don’t you know you need to be serious when you’re doing the things of God? I said, no, saying thus sayeth the lord is so scary and serious I got to laugh or cry and I’d rather laugh because the joy of the Lord is my strength. Amen. I have prophesied over 50,000 people in my lifetime and that was mostly up to about ten years ago, twenty years ago when I was training others and all my staff and others do most of the prophesying, I do some, but I’m doing warfare right now and tearing down nations, straightening out, making sheep and goat nations and doing warfare. I believe we got power over the devil. Amen. I tell you, we are at the stage; we’ve entered an offensive, active, warfare. We are in the army of the Lord movement. The third reformation was birthed in 2008, 2016 we’re now in the army of the Lord Movement and God’s activating us into an aggressive, active army. We’re out to destroy the works of the devil and make the kingdom of this world, the kingdom of our Lord and His church. Amen.

BILL: If you say, well I don’t like a battle, well then go get you a sugar stick and go back home, and just hang on until Jesus comes…amen. But I’m a warrior, and I’m raising up warriors. Raising up an army. What I had to realize, in the army it takes ten or eleven soldiers, regular soldiers, to keep the frontline soldiers there. Then it takes all of these people making the guns and ammunition, and the tanks and the planes to keep them going. So I quit trying to make everybody a front line soldier. Somebody’s going to have to truck up with the ammunition. Somebody is going to have to cook the food. Somebody’s got to make the clothing. But, everybody is in the army. See, that’s the difference. You got to be army minded. I’m in the army. And I always told my young men, you can tell the difference of whether you’re in the army or still a civilian by who’s your mama. Were any men here in the military? You remember going into the military? When you went in you told the staff sergeant or drill sergeant my mom usually gets me up about eight o’clock in the morning. I like my breakfast with two eggs and bacon and I usually have my socks and stuff by the bed and my mama makes my bed, and takes my socks, and I usually like to go for a walk about ten o’clock in the morning. CLARICE: I was overtaken with boldness. And the righteous are as bold as a lion and those that know God do exploit. So anyway, I stood up and I said, “I cannot see that the great state of Florida would be benefitted by keeping her. Sunday is Mother’s Day; I’ve come to get her.” And he just looked, took the gavel, hit it and he says, “Cut her loose.”
KYLE: And he released her to you?
CLARICE: To me. I took her home and we cried; we talked. She kissed the ground. She said, “Momma, I haven’t seen a tree. I’ve been locked up so long.” Da-da-da-da-da. We go home. I said, “This is it. This is an answer to prayer.” I mean it just—I mean, it was an amazing thing.
KYLE: But it wasn’t yet?
CLARICE: It was not. I was preparing breakfast for her and I went into her room and she was gone. My credit card was gone.
KYLE: How long later?
CLARICE: She was there two days.
KYLE: Two days after your bold declaration, the judge releases her—
CLARICE: Yeah, yeah.
KYLE: It looks like you had victory.
CLARICE: It just looks like sometimes those that overcome will be made to be a pillar in the house of God. And a pillar has to sustain the roof of glory. Glory is the manifestation of Jesus, plainly seen. So here we are and I looked and I realized at this time, “This isn’t about me, this is about her.” You know when you think, “How can you do this to me?”
KYLE: Yeah, why me God?
CLARICE: Why me, why me. I mean, I’m a child of God and Your Word says just believe and speak the Word. And He says, “My timing is perfectly perfect and surely sure. And she left and we had many more years of going through—I would here from her from time to time. She had two children. That’s a whole other story. And then she takes an overdose of heroin, she dies; she’s forty-five minutes that they say she’s brain-dead.
KYLE: She dies from an overdose of heroin?
CLARICE: –from an overdose of heroin. And she’s brought in, they say she’s on life support, da-da-da-da-da, all of this. She wakes up. She ends up going back to jail. I think she stole a pound of butter and they caught her for it. And because she had a record—
KYLE: With all of the history, sure.
CLARICE: Yeah. And I think her rap sheet was over forty-five pages long. She went before the judge and he said, “You’re the most incorrigible person I think I’ve ever met.” and he said, “Before I sentence you, do you have anything to say?” She says, “Yes sir, I do.” She says, “First thing, half of what I’ve done, you don’t know about. But what you don’t know is I’m descended from an ancient line of warlords and my destiny is perfect in the sight of God. What I do does not matter because of the calling and the election.”
KYLE: She says this to the judge? She got something from her momma.
CLARICE: Oh, she got something from God!
KYLE: Well,there you go! [laughs]
CLARICE: So, she said it and the judge said, “I’m going to try one more time. I’m going to give you one more opportunity.” He put her in a program. She aced it. She came out and she graduated from it. I went to California and she graduated. And the judge got up and he said, “The story of Julianna Fluitt is equal to the story of Lazarus.” He said, “I’ve never seen such a dynamic change.” Well, she got her education. She’s now the head of one of the largest drug rehab centers in the United States.
